MICK AND BAND SYDNEY HEADLINE SHOW THIS FRI 29 JAN!!!
After a magical European Tour late last year and a wonderful string of Summer East Coast shows, MICK will reunite with his band the "MICK HART EXPERIENCE" for a BIG headline show in Sydney on Fri 29 Jan at the Excelsior Hotel in Surry Hills.
This will be MICK's last Sydney headline for a while and promises to be a brilliant night with a huge set planned featuring songs from the entire back catalogue as well as of course showcasing tracks from the new albums "WHERE I GO" and "WHAT LIES BENEATH".
Supporting MICK on the night will be good friends "TEMPO DE NAUGHTY" featuring BRENDAN FLYNN with KEN GORMLY (The Cruel Sea), GRANT GERATHY (Ray Mann Three) and also MICK himself on guest lead guitar.
The night kicks off at 8.45pm sharp with tickets at the door...don't miss out!!!

"WHERE I GO" EAST COAST SUMMER TOUR...
Having just returned from a huge European Tour and also an awesome run of shows supporting JEFF MARTIN and the ARMADA, MICK is about to hit the road for a string of East Coast dates in Dec and Jan to further celebrate the release of his second new album for 2009 "WHERE I GO".
MICK will play dates in Newcastle, Byron Bay, Lennox Head, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Yamba, Wollongong and many more and will finish up the tour with a massive full band show at the Excelsior Hotel in Surry Hills Sydney on Fri 29 Jan. See the tour page for full tour dates.

"MONKEY BOY" OUT OF HIBERNATION !!!
MICK's brilliant side project from 2005 "MONKEY BOY" is about to come out of hibernation with selected shows on his East Coast tour as opening act as well as a spot on the PEATS RIDGE FESTIVAL on 29 Dec.
"MONKEY BOY" is a down and dirty 2 piece electric guitar and drums combination in the vain of the BLACK KEYS and WHITE STRIPES, with a definite 60s influence and amazing live vibe. Originally featuring MICK on guitar/vocals and ANGUS DIGGS on drums...the new incarnation will feature the hugely talented GRANT GERATHY on drums (from the RAY MAN THREE). SECOND NEW ALBUM FOR 2009 RELEASED ON OCT 2 WITH AUS AND EUROPEAN TOUR!!!
After the release of the emotive pop gem "WHAT LIES BENEATH" in May, Mick is now unleashing his second new album for 2009 - "WHERE I GO" on 2nd Oct.
Largely written in Europe and recorded in Sydney, "WHERE I GO" features Mick back to his rock roots and jamming it up with his brilliant band mates - Damian Leonard (bass) and Tony Chubb (drums).
12 Catchy, raw and infectious tunes that further showcase this previously ARIA nominated artist is well and truly inside and inspired musical journey.

TWO NEW ALBUMS RELEASED IN 2009
More than 3 years in the making and after returning to Aus from a long term stay in Europe, prolific singer/songwriter MICK HART is releasing 2 brand new albums in 2009. Largely written in Europe and recorded in Sydney and France, MICK’s 5th and 6th studio albums showcase an enormous depth of songwriting and brilliant musicality. From the the beautiful emotive folk pop of “WHAT LIES BENEATH” to the catchy hard edged rock/roots of “WHERE I GO”, both cds feature MICK with his hugely talented bandmates DAMIAN LEONARD (bass) and TONY CHUBB (drums). All in all 27 new songs that prove this previously ARIA nominated artist is well and truly inside an inspired musical journey. "These albums are the result of more than 4 years living, touring and gypsying throughout Europe. It has been the most inspired songwriting period i have ever had and after several incredible studio sessions between Sydney and France we ended up with over 40 awesome new finished tracks! Hence the reason we have decided to put out 2 albums in 2009. The songs feel fresh and excellent and both albums feel beautifully balanced with their own flavour and vibe. The first of the 2 cds to be released is the emotive folk/pop album 'What Lies Beneath'.
